OBITUARY: Simon Nuñez Prieto

Simon Nunez Prieto, 25, passed away on Aug. 26, 2012.

He was born on Oct. 5, 1986 in Yuma, Ariz.

He was brought to Blythe as a baby and had been here ever since. Simon married Sonia Prieto in Las Vegas, Nev. on Feb. 20, 2012 at the Chapel of Bells.

He was greeted in heaven by his daughter Rina and grandfather, Antonio.

Simon is survived by wife, Sonia Prieto; son, Simon Prieto; and daughter, Sarai Prieto; stepkids, Iris and Vincent Rodriguez; mother, Martina Nuñez; father, Simon Prieto; sisters, Maritza Nuñez, Angelina Prieto, and Leslie Prieto; brothers, Abel Prieto and Ernesto Espinoza; as well as several family members.

Visitation for Simon was held at Frye Chapel on Aug. 30, 2012. Mass was held on Aug. 31, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church followed by burial at Palo Verde Cemetery.

Simon was mine & Donnies friend. Me and Simon went to school together since we were in grade school. Its hard to knw Simons gone. I think back of when we were little being little crazy kids . To Simons family love and respect to all of u. Our prayers go out to all of and also Simons babies. Donnies and his family are like family to the Prieto family and it broke Donnies heart Simon u will be missed and not for gotten RIP..

I know its been a month since u' ve been gone lil bro but evn though ur not present here ur still alive in our hearts. Trust and beleive u will never be forgotten u will always b a part of us till the day we meet in another world. We love and miss u bro. R.I.P SIMON PRIETO.
