Town plans many events for upcoming spring season
PALO VERDE, Calif. - Fort Gaston Historical Society and Museum received a trailer home on a special piece of land in Palo Verde to sell at a special price. The land was also given to the Society for the purpose of selling with the proceeds going to help them pay off the museum's mortgage on the museum building.

Former Imperial County Sheriff and Palo Verde resident Justin Hettich and his new wife Tiffany came to town this last week to visit with friends he made back when he was a deputy in the area.

Palo Verde water pipe flushing begins Jan. 22
The town's water system flushing begins Jan 22. Residents should be aware there will be some difficulty with the water during the day. According to Palo Verde County Water District office the water has been discolored for some time but that problem will be resolved soon. Extensive work has been done on the facility recently.
