BLYTHE - The Palo Verde Valley Transit Agency celebrated their 35th anniversary with a ceremony at the city's community center at Todd Park last Saturday. Councilman Joey DeConinck, chairman of the Agency board, spoke to the audience as did several other speakers.

They should have left out that thing about the people giving speeches. (joking) The thing is that they picked a bad time, and day for this event. At lunch time everyone, that was not working was at the Harmony kitchen. Nothing bad about that. They should of had that event on a Saturday or Sunday just when people got out of Church they could have gone there for lunch, and many others that got a day off work. just bad planning.

There was more speaker than listeners. It was very embarrassing, but the speakers seemed to enjoy listening and clapping for each other.
