BLYTHE - The Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Blythe will present the 56th Annual Community Outlook Conference on April 11. The conference will kick off with golf at 7 a.m. at Blythe Golf Course followed by a tour of the valley at 9 a.m. that leaves from Colorado River Fairgrounds. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Jaycees Building located at Colorado River Fairgrounds.
Guest speakers scheduled for the day are City Manager David Lane, 4th District Supervisor John Benoit, Caltrans District 8 Director Basem Muallem, Palo Verde College Interim President Denise Whittaker, and Palo Verde Unified School District Superintendent Bob Bilek.

56th Annual? What is on the agenda for this outlook conference, please write the topics of discussion and any progress that has been made for the city of Blythe from previous conferences. Blythe has been at a stand stil for decades and I wonder if money spent on this luncheon can be better spent elsewhere.
