Desert Bloom ATV Rally planned for Feb. 14-17

QUARTZSITE TIMES

QUARTZSITE - Quartzsite will be hosting a new event this coming February, when the Desert Bloom ATV Rally will be coming to town. The event is being sponsored by Sanderson Ford and is being coordinated by Five 2 Productions out of Phoenix. This four-day event will take place at Tyson Wells Showgrounds on Kuehn St.

The organizers have been in town several different times in the past few months going over some of the trails in the area to make sure they are safe for the riders who will be coming for this event.

Jason Cobb, CEO of Five 2 Productions, has been checking out any damage to the trails around Quartzsite since the heavy rains have made some of them unable to be used due to the damage.

Cobb said that they have three big events planned for 2013 and Quartzsite will be the first of them. They feel that they have found a home in Quartzsite and have been welcomed with open arms by everyone who they have talked to about this event. They are hoping to make this a world-class event, and one that will be happening every year.

The rally will start on Feb. 14, and end on Feb. 17. Included in the plans for the event are all kinds of activities to keep the ATV enthusiasts busy. There will be a huge merchants area called the Performance Plaza that will have every new gadget you could possibly want or need, with manufacturers from some of the biggest names in ATV products. New models of ATVs and other off road vehicles will also be included, with some items for sale that you will only be able to buy at the rally.

Also featured at the Desert Bloom Rally will be a drive in movie Thursday night, and a dinner cruise to Silly Al's Pizza on West Main St. for participants on Friday. On Saturday they will have a poker run, raffle, BBQ and videos at the picnic pavilion at Tyson Wells Showgrounds. They will have a showcase of the history of General Patton with a ride.

For more information, or to register to be a participant in this event, contact Jason Cobb at Five 2 Productions by going online at www.desertbloomrally.com. Everyone who rides an ATV or other off road vehicle is invited to join in all the fun.
