BLYTHE, Calif. - The Blythe Padres finished its season after going 16-0 during the Blythe Little League Major Boys Division.

After earning the top spot honors, the team headed to Bullhead City where they won the District #9 Tournament of Champions. The Padres beat Havasu North 7-5 then beat Kingman North 8-5 in the championship game.

The Blythe kids beat defending champs, Havasu South easily 10-2. Coaches Richard Johnson, Jeff Phipps, Mitch Schriner and Todd Phipps stated they were proud of the hard work of the kids during their undefeated season.

Tournament player highlights: homeruns - Chase Schriner, Tommy Johnson, Blade Phipps; pitching- Chase Schriner, Tom Johnson, Zach Cabreros and Blade Phipps.
