COLUMN: Eldon Wayne Duvall

Wayne Duvall, 75, said his final goodbye to family Sept. 16, 2012.

He was born on March 21, 1936.

We all prayed for his continued journey into another space.

Wayne was a loved husband, father, grandfather, long time store manager, fisherman, and straight-talking man. He saw things as they were and lived by principles of another generation.

Being a football player and Marine, he served his community and country proudly.

He began his last days on earth doing what he loved best, spending the summer at his mountain retreat fishing and enjoying the fresh air and peace that comes from having led a full life. Peace be with you.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, children and grandchildren that he loved so much, many friends, and quite a few thankful fish.

At his request there will be no services.

Grab your fishing pole, crack a Milwaukee's Best and cast out for Wayne.
