Larry B. Williams, age 70, of Duchesne, Utah, passed away July 24, 2014, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Monroe Lee and Nellie Marie Salmon Williams.
He graduated from Wynnewood, Oklahoma High School. Larry married his soulmate, Fay Estell Davis, on Jan. 21, 1964, in Yuma, Arizona. She passed away June 30, 2006.
Larry worked as a truck driver for Chevron and was manager of the Chevron Terminal. He enjoyed fishing from his pontoon boat on Starvation Reservoir (near Duchesne), hunting, camping, and traveling to warmer climates in the winter.
He was the best father and grandfather, and would do anything for his family. He was well-respected by the community and would help anyone in need. One of his favorite jobs after retirement was as camp host at Starvation.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Diane (Mike) Dietz of Evans, Colorado; his two grandchildren, Danyell and Devin Chase; and a close family friend, MonDee Morse.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay; his parents; three brothers; and a sister.
A private memorial service was held by the family.
