Arthur Arnold Steig was called home by our Heavenly Father on Aug. 21,2013 at the age of 59.
He was born in Seattle, Wash. on Jan 22,1954.
He served his country as a Marine tank commander. He loved to be with his family, and loved playing jokes on people. His last job was working for a local hardware store and he considered many there his family also. Arthur is loved and missed by many.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife Peggy of 37 years. They were married in Blythe on Oct. 1, 1976.
Arthur is lovingly remembered by his wife, Peggy of Blythe; mother, Violet Steig of Lynnwood Wash.; daughters, Cristal Steig and Juan Magana of Cathedral City, Jeannette and Oliver White of Blythe; brother, Larry VanDeMark of Hebron, N.D.; Sisters, Lola Dee and Simmie Love of Blythe; Alma Sulin of Kent, Wash; grandchildren, DeShawn Johnson, Aubrey Hill, DeAndre Bradley, Drea Bradley, Briauna Magana, Ashley Cheney, Victoria Beauchman, Bailey White, Wyatt White; and great granddaughter, Desiree Johnson; and many loving nieces and other relatives.
Arthur was predeceased by his father, Archie VanDeMark, and father Edgar Steig; his son Arthur Arnold Steig Jr.; granddaughters, Amanda Cheney and Ariauna Magana; and his brothers Russell VanDeMark and Edgar Steig jr.
The funeral service will be held at L.D.S. Church 700 N. Broadway on Sept. 6,2013 at 10 a.m. with John Ulmer and Tom Crook officiating.
