OBITUARY: Mary Sue Parker

Mary Sue Parker, 57, passed away on March 19, 2013 at her home in Palo Verde, Calif.

She was born on Aug. 31, 1955 in Raymondville, Texas.

The family moved to Blythe in 1961 when Mary was 6 years old. She lived in Palo Verde for the last 17 years.

Mary loved going to the river with family and friends. Besides the river, she loved anything in the outdoors. A bon fire in the desert was another one of her favorite pastimes. Mary also loved singing karaoke with her friends in Palo Verde.

She always had a smile and never wanted anyone to fuss or worry too much. She had a simple approach to life and always looked to the brighter side of every situation.

Mary is survived by her husband, John Kribbs; her mother, AnnaBelle Parker; brothers, Joe, Scott and Steve Parker; children, Cory Blair, Rain, Daniel, Myriah and Aaron Jensen; and her seven grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her father, J.D. Parker; her brother, Jack Parker; and her sister, Carole Pope.
