OBITUARY: Ella Mae Hale

Ella Mae Hale, 82, passed away July 28, 2012 in Blythe. Ella was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Liberal, Kan. to Orville and Elizabeth Hoskinson, the youngest of six children.

Ella was married on Oct. 22, 1945, in Dodge City, Kan. to the love of her life, Robert H. Hale. Robert's work brought the family from Kansas to Needles, Calif. in 1956 and they settled in the Palo Verde Valley in 1964.

Ella's love for her family was immeasurable. She spent her life as a homemaker; raising her boys and centering herself around her ever-growing family. She was also a member of the local Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her sons, David (Mary) Hale of Winthrop, Mass. and Allen (Patsy) Hale of Blythe; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Herman Hale, on Aug. 17, 2004, and her son, Robert Leon Hale on July 29, 2006; as well as her parents and all of her siblings.

Funeral service will be held on Aug. 1, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Frye Chapel with burial services following at Palo Verde Cemetery.

We had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Hale as we bought her place. Such a sweet lady. She was quite funny too. Our hearts break tremendously for her family. We just found out or we would have attended her service. I will miss our chats Mrs. Hale. Rest in peace.

Your grandma will missed dearly, she was a wonderful lady and will be missed very much by alot of people and especially her family.

i have known mae for many years her door was always open the more kids she had in her house the happier she was she was a great role model for her grand daughters linda and michelle i will cherish the great memories i have of her my prayers are going to her family she will surely be missed my many

you will be greatly missed, we had out long talks when everyony else was outside, i cherish those moments, Thank you for being my Grandma that i could talk to about anything too, i love you for that.
