Former Blythe resident Adam W. Bradley will receive his Ph.D in physics May 18 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, after he successfully defended his dissertation titled, Lux Thermosyphon Cryogenics and Radon-Related Backgrounds for the First WIMP Result Dec. 18, 2013. Bradley and his wife, Lauren Kallie, will move to Berkeley, Calif. where he will be a post doc at Lawrence-Berkeley National Laboratory.

Bradley graduated from Palo Verde High School in 2000. He earned his B.S. in physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2005.

Bradley is the son Rick and JoAnn Bradley of Blythe.
