Gee, this was just a year ago, and the new superintendent salary raised to $200,000! Quite a lot of cash, it seems to me. And along with it, our kids (little ones, too) have to walk from Ripley and Palo Verde. Somehow, I just can't see that the children of this district are receiving top priority. This has to be just about the most absurd decision of a school board I have ever seen. This town, as well as people from Ripley and Palo Verde, need to be a very visible element at the next board meeting. And it would seem that we ALL need to be on top of things in the education area, but don't slack up on checking on the hospital mess, which is still on the burner, the city manager and the police chief. We need to be breathing down their necks at all times, and make our town the town it has the potential of being. And "power" plays will no longer be acceptable. Right?

Sounds like we have a new problem, or could
this be a solution. We have two pretty intelligent School Board Members in Sonny
Hernandez and Mr. Guith. All we need is one more and we could control this Board. Some-one has a few screws loose. Get off the pot and turn this District around.

Mr. Davitt, you have a long row to hoe. The acting super with his shortcomings, was only a small part of the problem. The two puppet masters are still there. They will be wispering sweet nothings in your ear. They are pros. Take control of this district, clean this house, and fix this mess. For the kids, for Blythe, and for your new employees.

The difference between this sham and the hospital is that they just fired all of the administration and they didn't give hush money. They will just wait to see if law suits arise.

Just what this town needs. ANOTHER hospital-type mess. I was told today about a bunch of stuff going on that certainly is not conducive to good education, I can tell you. I realize that some of it is coming from D.C. and Sacramento, and our kids are going to suffer. These liberal education specialists know how to throw the bull around, just like the hospital people do, and the city manager and police chief. Citizens, better get yourself informed by whatever source you can, as the school board is not going to be playing straight with you either.

Good Luck to the new superintendent and pray that he will see though the actions of a (deleted) team that has been running our district into the ground. The (deleted) hasn't shown the district a true picture of the Budget in three years. The (deleted) seems to be able to buy just about anything he wants which is taking money of the kids by not having enough teachers in the classrooms.
