The first annual Blythe River Blues Festival was held May 26, 2012 at Quechan Marina. The festival featured Paul Winer, Blythe's own South Main Street Blues Band, Bernie Pearl Blues Band, 7th Sons with Bill McFadden, Deacon Jones, and Fran Banish. Over 400 came out to enjoy this event on the river. Stay tuned for next year's festival.

BLYTHE - Eric Gales headlined the 2nd Annual Blythe River Blues Festival, held last Saturday at Quechan Marina on the Colorado River. Other acts included Fran Banish, Junior Watson, Cadillac Zack, The Record Company, South Main Street Blues Band and Paul Winer. Hundreds attended the event which raised funds for the Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce and the Joe Wine Recreation Center.

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors and entertainers at this event. I attended for the 2nd year and had a great time. I plan to be there next year. Keep up the good work.

Just wanted to say, excelent show. It was nice to walk across the bridge and see a show of this caliber. Eric Gales kicked a$$. Thanks to all who made it possiable.
