Cristina Bequer is 2014 Miss Blythe. Bequer won the Talent Competition, Physical Fitness and tied with First Runner-Up Bailey Lee for Evening Gown. Grace Quist earned second runner-up honors for Saturday night's sold out scholarship pageant event at Palo Verde College Theatre.

UPDATE:

BLYTHE - Cristina Bequer was crowned 2014 Miss Blythe at Saturday night's Miss Blythe Scholarship Pageant.

Bequer won the Talent Competition, Physical Fitness and tied with First Runner-Up Bailey Lee for Evening Gown. Lee also received Miss Congeniality and judges interview, the latter accounted for 25 percent of the overall score.

Grace Quist earned second runner-up honors and People's Choice award for Saturday night's sold out scholarship pageant event at Palo Verde College Theatre.

The James Bond 007 themed pageant, hosted by Celeste Velarde and Greg Snider, awarded more than $4,900 in scholarships in addition to sponsored prizes.

Also, Miss Calfornia, Crystal Lee, performed the ballet routine that helped her earn first runner-up in the Miss America pagent conducted this summer in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Other performances for the night included Tobi Johnson, Noah Johnson, Caleb Ramirez, Deanna Mogg, The Dance Yard, and Faulkner Dance Studio, Ryan Reyes.

Here are the official results for the 2014 Miss Blythe Pageant:

• Miss Blythe 2014 ($2,500 scholarship): Cristina Bequer

• 1st Runner Up ($1,000 scholarship): Bailey Lee

• 2nd Runner Up ($500 scholarship): Grace Quist

• Lisa Marie Fitness Award ($100 scholarship): Cristina Bequer

• Linda Faulkner Dance School Talent Award ($200 scholarship): Cristina Bequer

• Miss Photogenic (Melinda Bartnik Photography photo shoot): Karys Downes

• Miss Congeniality: Bailey Lee

• Outstanding Interview: Bailey Lee

• Most Ad sales: Cristina Bequer

• Most Tickets Sold: Cristina Bequer

• Finalists ($150 scholarship): Dallas Hurt, Emily Doyle, Bianca Saldivar, and Karys Downes.

The first runner up is Bailey Lee. Her sister Kailey Lee is Miss Blythe Teen. Congratulations to all the young ladies. All seven girls are wonderful role models for the younger girls in our community. Bailey, I am so proud of you!
