I see what your saying on the sewer fees, we already pay almost $20 a month for a water meter, thats around $200 a year for something we the people dont need to be paying for, Im sure the city saved a ton of money by puting these meters in (run a scanner over it= less people to read meters)

C.J.- C'mon, C'mon! (deleted) KND Inc. seems to be running on the philosophy of "if there's not a specific law against it, it must be all right." Or until the IRS investigates one's practices. The question is not, if Blythe needs more money for infrastructure, it's IF Blythe gets more money for infrastructure, will it be used for the intended purpose? What happened to the percentage of TOT that was supposed to be used for the Community Center? Why was the sewer CIP used for other purposes, which seems to bring us to the "need" to increase sewer user fees 220% from 2012 to 2013? On just the residential accounts, this is almost 600K more a year in sewer rates, this is not counting the rates business pays for sewer each month. The Blythe Elks Lodge will go from paying about $703.00 a year for sewer charges to $1,557 a year. There's no RDA funds to "reallocate" so how long do you think it will take to get to raising the Domestic water rates?

Yeah, this firm Kinsell Newcomb & De Dios Inc. has had some problems with municipal derivatives and "swaptions". From an article on one such action: "A 2008 article in the Bond Buyer titled "IRS Cuts a Deal with Kinsell" gives us an indication of the level of business performed by the firm: "The Internal Revenue Service has agreed to close 26 examinations of roughly $800 million of bonds issued by several California school districts without finding the bonds taxable in exchange for $5 million from the lead banker on the controversial deals." Your city council needs to ask, who recommended these guys? Are they going to eat Blythe alive with derivative juggling?
