LYTHE - Officials with the Colorado River Fair announced that the 2013 Fair Exhibitors Handbook is now available.
Community members are invited to enter and showcase their talent. Handbooks can be picked up from the Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce, Palo Verde Valley District Library, and the fair office.
There are many categories to participate in including quilting, baked goods, photography, and much more.
According to fairgrounds manager and CEO Bruce Wilson, last year's exhibit was fantastic and this year will be even better with the community's participation.
The Colorado River Fair Ambassadors announced that the pre-sale, one-day unlimited ride coupons are now available, too. Wilson said the "best carnival operating in California" will be operating the rides and carnival booths this year.
Helm and Sons Amusement are coming to the fairgrounds with more and newer rides than ever before.
One-day unlimited ride coupons are on sale now for just $20 and include three coupons good for one free carnival game with the purchase of another; one free medium popcorn; and one free carnival prize redeemable at the fair.
Get your tickets now. After the fair starts, tickets will be $25. Carnival ride tickets can be purchased at Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce, 145 N. Spring St. Ste 601; Blythe Police Department, 240 N. Spring St.; and the fair office, 591 Olive Lake Blvd.; all in Blythe.
