BLYTHE, Calif. - Palo Verde High School (PVHS) Drama Club presents The Forest of the Dead with shows April 10 at 7 p.m., April 12 at 8 p.m., and a special matinee April 13 at 3 p.m., with all shows in the PVHS cafeteria. Tickets are $8 in advance and are available from drama club members and at the high school office, 667 N. Lovekin Blvd., or $10 at the door while they last.
The Forest of the Dead delivers a fascinating story full of suspense, mystery and a touch of romance. The story takes place in the summer of 1999 where a cold-blooded killer stalks Hangman's Grove, the dark woods surrounding the small town of Chestnut Hollow. As the body count rises, three families, drawn into the Sheriff's investigation causing tensions to rise and relationships falter as a group of young friends are drawn in to confront Chestnut Hollow's most sinister secret.
"We are very excited for the public to see this show," said Director Victor Green. "The characters are engaging and the plot takes you through a web of the character's past, current relationships and a future that is uncertain."
The Palo Verde High School Drama Club welcomes the entire community to come and enjoy this great show.
