BLYTHE - Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) Post 2987 recently dedicated a sound system to former VFW Commander Patricia Howard, Col. (ret.) USAF, N.C. Col. Howard accepted in honor of all the women in the military. She also presented the sound system to Palo Verde Cemetery.
The cemetery used the new sound system at the Veteran's Day ceremony with great success according to VFW Post 2987. As needed, the cemetery will use the sound system for programs.
