BLYTHE - Tickets are on sale now for five hours of dancing at the Multicultural Festival planned for Nov. 16 at Palo Verde College's Fine & Performing Arts Center. Cost is $10 which is good for five hours of music and performances in the theatre.
In addition to the featured dancing and music inside the theatre, more music, ethnic foods and informational booths promoting lifestyles throughout the world will be outside at no charge. The event begins at noon and runs until 5 p.m.
The entire community is invited to come and participate by setting up a booth to display cultural artifacts, collectibles, pictures, jewelry, traditional attires or anything that represents your ethnicity for free. Or set up a food booth for a small fee.
Original showcased artwork at the event will have the opportunity to win a contest with the winner's artwork displayed in the Fine & Performing Arts Center lobby.
Tickets are available in the Business Office at Palo Verde Community College, One College Drive, Blythe, and Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce, 207 E. Hobsonway.
