Blythe police arrest Yucca Valley man for DUI
Special to the Times

BLYTHE - Blythe Police responded to a traffic collision in the 300 block of N. Lovekin the evening of June 17. Responding officers found that a Ford Focus, driven by Howard Greenway, 26, of Yucca Valley, had struck a parked vehicle.

Officers found that Greenway had been driving northbound when he veered to the right and struck a Toyota Camry parked on the east side of the roadway. The Camry moved forward and struck a Ford pickup parked in front of it. Greenway was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was not injured.

Investigation by officers found that Greenway was driving while intoxicated and he was taken into custody. He was transported to the police department, and later released on his written promise to appear. The case will be submitted to the District Attorney for filing of charges.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Blythe Police at 922-6111.
