Interesting, at least two people have installed solar PV on their homes. Probably the 5% increase in SCE rates was a determining factor. I wonder why the $7,649,584.80 outstanding principle amount for the 2003 water system upgrades was not mentioned in the council meetings when the budget was addressed? That's about $2,100 per water user account. Now they're talking selling bonds. What happens if you sell bonds and nobody buys? It also looks like the proposed rate increases for sewer rates is going from $13.58 per residential user to $29.88 a 220% increase. Why do they base the rates on the CPI of L.A. and Orange counties as well as Riverside county? I would think the CPI in both L.A. and Orange counties to be higher than Riverside county.
