Exhibitor entries due for Colorado River Fair

BLYTHE - Do you quilt, bake, sew, paint, grow flowers or take pictures? If your answer is yes to any of these, the Colorado River Fair is hoping you will enter this year's competition. All entries will be on display in the Exhibit Building during the fair, March 21-24.

Exhibitor Handbooks are now available at Blythe Chamber of Commerce, the library, Palo Verde College, and the Fair Office. The handbook includes an entry form. Competition is open to adults and children. All entries will be displayed,

Entry deadline is Feb. 28, 2013. Forms may be mailed to the Fair at 591 North Olive Lake Boulevard, Blythe, CA 92225 or dropped at the Fair office.

Non-perishable items should be delivered to the fairgrounds on March 4 between noon and 6 p.m. and March 5 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Floriculture, baked goods, and table settings will be accepted on March 20, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Ribbons will be awarded to first, second, and third places with Best of Show rosettes give to the outstanding entry in most classes. Should you have questions, contact the Fair at 760-922-3247.

Just seems silly to show the fair entry book 2 days before entry form is due. Hopefully they accept entries dated the 28th.
