YUMA - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is planning a public scoping meeting to provide the opportunity for the public to learn more about the planned Copperstone Underground Mine and Mill development and reactivation underway within the Yuma Field Office planning area.
The public lands to be developed are approximately 9.5 miles north of Quartzsite, Ariz., within La Paz County. The meeting will be held on Dec. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Quartzsite Senior Center located at 40 East Moon Mountain Road, Quartzsite.
