Flag goes to Fort Gaston
Special to the Times


Palo Verde residents Gary and Bennie Barritt (right) recently donated an American flag to the Fort Gaston Historical Society in memory of Bennie's father, Jack Lorenz. The flag will be flown on the memorial flag pole that is stationed over the museum. Anyone interested in donating a flag to fly on the Fort Gaston flag pole over the museum at the north entrance to town in memory or in honor of a friend or relative, is asked to contact curator, June Hamilton (left) at 760-854-3464.
